Reach for the Stars Academy of Dance was opened in 2002. We are proudly in our 8th year of educating students in the art of dance. We instruct dancers 3 years of age and older in Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pointe, Acro, Fitness classes, production classes and competition classes. We are a studio that offers recreational classes as well as award winning competition classes. Under the direction of Mary Marrone, Reach for the Stars is a studio that is filled with fun and laughter combined with structured classes and technical instruction.  Reach for the Stars has been fully renovated this summer. We are excited to announce we have added a third dance floor to fit your needs! We are now able to offer 8 week special fine arts classes for dancers who want to explore something different and for those dancers who are looking to break into the commercial dance industry. We can now offer private lessons to all dancer's who are interested, fitness classes 3 days a week, belly dance and pageant preparation. We have added extra acro and hip hop classes by popular demand. Look for our new calendar which will post our new 8 week programs that will run throughout the year. RFTS is dedicated to bringing you the latest in the arts making sure you receive a complete dance education.

Some Interesting Facts

1  Our academy is 3000 square feet with 3 dance floors.

2  We have 9 instructors/choreographers and 9 assistants.

3  In addition to competition and recreation classes we also perform at local fairs, theme parks, convalescent homes, pageants and other charity functions.

4  We are an advocate and donator to the American Cancer Society.

5  We organize various drives like the Hurricane Katrina Drive where we filled an 18 foot trailor.

6  Reach for the Stars is a drop off location for the Plymouth Food Pantry

7  We support our brave men and women fighting for our freedom. Every year RFTS salutes the troops with a dedicated dance as well as other drives. PLEASE SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! 

8  Miss Mary has been featured on the cover of 2 dance catalogs and has been seen in Dance Spirit, Dance Magazine and Dance Teacher.

9 Miss Mary is a 4 time top teacher winner since 2006.
